1967 Ferrari 330 GTC VIN: 9989 GTC Engine: 9989 GTC Transmission: 592/1214 Believed to be one of four 330 GTC Ferraris built with several 365 GTC features Complete documentation and books Properly maintained and in highly original condition The body arrived from Pininfarina on March 23rd 1967 and the car was completed by Ferrari on May 22nd 1967. This car is believed to be one of four 330 GTC Ferraris built with several 365 GTC features: hood vents, no mechanical fuel pump and a different carburetor fuel log. The previous owner, an American, is a design and manufacturing engineer who was responsible for three factories in northern Italy, owned by a major US multinational. His factory manager, Gianbattista Mazza of Abbadia Lariano (on Lake Como) was a long time friend of Sergio Rossi, a vintage Ferrari restorer, from Corso Emannule in Torino. This 330 GTC was maintained by Sig. Rossi and its sale was brokered by him which gave the American very high confidence in the car which at the time was owned by its second owner, Francesco Rossini of Lugano, Switzerland, and a resident of Torino, Italy. The American purchased 9989 from Sig. Rossini, through Sergio Rossi in March of 1985. The car was thereafter garaged in Como, Italy. Sig. Rossi continued to maintain the car and in 1988 completely rebuilt the engine. In December of 1990 the owner relocated to southern California, storing 9989 with Sig. Rossi. In June of 1992 it was air shipped from Milano to Los Angeles on an Alitalia 747.
